Ora Wiley Pulley (1905-1938)

 

Ora Wiley Pulley was born on 17 February 1905 in Plad, Dallas County, Missouri. He was the seventh child of Dow and Emma Pulley.

 

Ora married Gladys Irene Gregory (1911-2003) on 17 October 1932 in Laclede County, Missouri. Gladys was the daughter of George Thomas Gregory and Nellie Rose (Riggins) Gregory and was born on 28 February 1911 in Eldridge, Laclede County, Missouri.

 

Ora and Gladys had the following children:

• Leona Glee Pulley (1935-1944)

• Floyd Ervin Pulley (1937-1999)

• Iona Faye Pulley (1939-1977)

 

Ora died on 30 December 1938 in Eldridge, Laclede County, Missouri at the age of 33 years from tuberculosis. He is buried in Hufft Cemetery, Laclede County, Missouri.  Gladys Irene (Gregory) Pulley Cleland died on 11 March 2003 in Lebanon, Laclede County, Missouri at the age of  92 years and is also buried in Hufft Cemetery in Laclede County, Missouri.
