Lavina (Pulley) Ballard (1895-1975)

 

 

Lavina Pulley was the second child born to Dow and Emma Pulley. She was born in Plad, Dallas County, Missouri on 26 Dec 1895.

 

On 7 January 1914, Lavina married Grover C Ballard (1892-1975) in Laclede County, Missouri.  Grover was the son of John K Ballard and Emma Louisa Taylor.

 

Grover and Lavina had no children of their own. However, they raised Lavina's cousin, Lewis William Pulley (son of William Dennis Pulley and Claudia (McClurg) Burtin Pulley).

 

Lavina died on 16 July 1975 in Lebanon, Laclede County, Missouri at the age of 79 years.  Grover died on 23 November 1975 in Eldridge, Laclede County, Missouri. They are both buried in the Prosperine Cemetery in Laclede County.
