William Dennis "Bill" Pulley

 

William Dennis Pulley was the tenth child of Permenus and Electa Pulley. He was born on 4 October 1880.

 

He married (1st) Julia Henderson (1888-?)  on 27 July 1908.

 

Bill and Julia had the following child:

 

• Berthie Pulley was born 20 February 1909 and died on 28 June 1912 from membranous croup according to her Missouri death certificate.

 

Julia died unknown. Bill married (2nd) Claudia May (McClurg) Burtin. Claudia was the daughter of Francis Marion McClurg and Martha Francis Lemons. She was born on 16 June 1888. She married (1st) William Burtin (1880-1923) William Burtin was killed by a lightening strike while walking with his family along a road while it was storming. Claudia and William Burtin had children: Hassie Burtin Bennett, Hurgle Everett Burtin, Jesse Nolan Burtin, and Gleamon Burtin.

 

Bill and Claudia had the following child:

• Lewis William Pulley (1928-2003)

 

Claudia died on 27 October 1930 in Long Lane, Missouri and is buried in the Benton Branch Cemetery in Dallas County, Missouri. William Dennis Pulley died on 9 Mar 1938 and is buried in the Plad Cemetery, Dallas County, Missouri.
